Within an hour’s drive from Le Prieuré you will find many sites to explore and visit: prehistoric caves, Romanesque churches and cloisters, beautiful fortified villages and lovely sights along the Dordogne river. You may also choose to tour the area using some of the world's most beautiful, quiet and peaceful roads to discover small wonderful villages off the beaten paths.

Bicycling, hiking (many marked trails surround Biron), canoeing and boating on the Dordogne or Dropt rivers, flying in a hot air balloon (rides are very popular and should be booked well in advance and are subject to good weather), karting, swimming, golfing, fishing, horseback riding are available within a short driving distance fromLe Prieuré.
